Wow, Crab legs , crawfish, shrimp ,tons more food and all you can drink beer or wine for a smoking deal. Glad I don't live here this place could be trouble for me :)..especially the desert bar with funnel cakes , hand dipped ice cream cones on and on. Service was spot on and very clean..

Lunch was 16.30 after tax...not bad. Very friendly staff and extremely clean. Was seated at the big booth and was amazed of how clean and not ripped the seats are. This casino smells very good. Can't even smell the cigarettes!

I paid $25.99 for this crap! This was the worst Buffett ever! Flies buzzing around everywhere! These things were all over the plates, food, and around our table. The food was poor in taste and quality. I am very disappointed. My expectations was very high, because this is a new casino to the city of Shreveport. The customer service was crappy also. I'll never ever eat here again!

Got a grilled chicken sandwich and the ultimate margarita here while in town for a meeting. Best of all-the margaritas. Left with a bit of a buzz and they were perfect! Sandwich was greasy-way too much butter. Fries were....fries-nothing special just status quo. Not the best eats but if you're hungry and you're not looking for anything fancy or a culinary masterpiece and you need a good drink-stop by! After all, you can gamble your change away too as soon as you step out of the doors in the casino. Sounds like a plan!!

I have eaten at over 100 casino buffets thousands of times in my life from vegas to shreveport and this is probably one of the worst. The price just doesn't reflect the food. A 30 dollar buffet with Golden Corral food.. Please do yourself a favor go to eldorado buffet. The only reason people eat here is because this casino gives out free buffets like suckers at a bank.

Prime rib was very tough and stone cold. Shrimp was very slimy and difficult to peal. WARNING!!! Automatic "service charge" added to bill without being told. I was dining alone and noticed a 10% service charge added to my bill.

This Buffet was actually better than I expected. The prime rib was really good, Mongolian beef also, the crab legs were also good, but for some reason the water that dripped from them after cooking, made my wife and I's hands burn. Not sure if they used crab boil or something but it definitely stung while eating them. The taste was good though. I recommend the prime rib and the short ribs overall and the price wasn't bad at $24.

Decided to give this buffet a try, and was glad I did. It is on the expensive side, but they have a great selection, and most of the food I had was great. The Mac and cheese was some of the best I've ever had. The mini egg rolls were delicious and I went and got more with every visit to the buffet. Ribs and chicken were both good, as was the crawfish ravioli. Sampled two different cheesecakes for dessert, with the strawberry being the best of the two. My one complaint was the service. The lady would bring one small drink then it may be 20 minutes before she gets back to you. If you're staying at the casino, spend the money and give this place a go.

The best Buffett in.. No wait lol jk, the worst Buffet in the history of food. Salad bar: poor selection. Poor salad bar. When I confronted the executive chef that I had seen walking around about the salad bar, he agreed with me that the salad bar was useless. Margaritaville: google 'salad bar' and see the difference in some of the images. Dinner: I tried every station with a little bit of everything.. I constantly found myself walking around looking for something that might have been palatable.. Ribs were ok but extra fatty. The brisket was made out of tires that were made from the hardest rubber in the universe made by the king of chewy. Crab legs were tiny, I didn't even see lobster tail anywhere. The one thing I had for dinner was a baked potato. Yup, I paid 26$ to eat a baked potato.. Even the sour cream had something in it to make it worse. The staff was good about refills and clearing plates off the table, but the food was the worst in the world. Staff didn't even care to hear it because I'm sure they knew how bad it was (exec chef even agreed). FLIES EVERYWHERE... Even in the dessert. Not sure if they breed the flies in the back and release them into the dining room or if it is just naturally that bad.. Because it is pretty bad. Also, their desserts are crap and you're better off having a dinner elsewhere, anywhere else. See the attached image I uploaded.. EAT ANYWHERE ELSE!

Food wasn't bad at all. The warmers need some work as all food was not as hot as it should be. The Mac and cheese is awesome!! The line to check in was extremely long with only one person at the register. Remember your ID if your using your free buffet vouchers. Beer, wine, or sodas are included in the price which is great! I would pay to eat there on our next visit.

If you're after quantity only, it'll work. Frozen crab, frozen shrimp, everything is over cooked and flavorless, gumbo is just soup, take the plastic off and out of the box desserts, etc. The best thing I ate was the Waldorf salad. Stereotypical buffet food at best but even the Horseshoe buffet has much better food than this and is a few dollars cheaper. The casino here is pretty nice though for Bossier City.

The line was 40 minutes long but well worth the wait! The crab legs were amazing, the ribs were tender and moist and fell off the bone. The service was great and our waitress was the best! They had food from a lot of countries and a good selection of desserts too. We were pleasantly surprised considering the long lines both days we were there.

Don't waste your money . I still trying to figure out how on earth a place serves fake mashed potatoes when they are so cheap to make . The ribs were meaty but tough , deserts were not good at all . How do you mess up pudding ? Best thing I had was corn on the cob it was cooked well and buttery too . I can't speak about the shrimp because they had their heads on and I can't even do legs on lol , but my sister seemed to really enjoy them . We were comped breakfast after they came and saw how out room was left ... We went down and I wouldn't pay for it for sure . I have had better at the Hampton Inn Biscuits were very flaky and tasty but I would be hard pressed to pay 9.99 for a couple of biscuit

Decent price and BBQ is very good, rest is mediocre at best. Crab legs are placed on your plate, so you would not overload and waste; which is a good idea. They don't have to worry, as the quality here is awful. When they opened they sourced good quality legs, but with time and cost cutting you now get cheap dried out legs; not worth the hassle of even dealing with them. Also seems that they bring in a lot of precooked (frozen) items, which is ok for a $10 Chinese buffet, but not for a $28 casino buffet, especially as I am losing my ass @ the tables. Service here is spotty and I have actually started paying in cash and leaving a cash tip based on service, instead of taking it on at the register using a credit card. Sometimes they deserve 20% and other times I am generous leaving 10%. They have also scaled back on the variety of deserts, not just load up the shelves with more of the same slices of chocolate cake or nasty tarts. Last time in, the ice cream machine was broken. Overall a decent buffet that is open until 10pm on weekdays.

Service sucks. There is always a line and the line moves at a snail pace. Once seated, the waitress will eventually bring the drinks then disappear rest of the night. There were times I would just go to the bar on my own to get extra napkins and my water refilled. Maybe next time, I'll bring my own napkins. The crab legs are AWESOME! Crab legs are worth more than the price of admission. I usually eat 3 large plate full. I like how the crab legs are not self-serve which keeps the area clean.

If I could give a negative star,I would. Food was horrible, all of it. Boiled shrimp smelled like its was dead a month before it was cooked. Service was non existent. I got one glass of tea at the beginning and didn't get offered another drink till I was leaving. Could not eat anything there. This is the worst place I have ever eaten in my adult life. Horseshoe casino has a buffet that's 1000% better in every aspect. Margaritaville is the white trash of casinos!!!

FREE BEER!!!! FREE BEER!!!! FREE WINE!!! FREE WINE!!!! A FUNNEL CAKE STATION!!!! A FUNNEL CAKE STATION!!!!...Okay, so those are just three of the highlights that make this totally AWESOME buffet worth the $24.95 on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner! With your meal, you get complimentary glasses of wine (red, white or zinfandel) or draft beer (in this case Miller Lite-my fave!) served in a pint glass (Bonus!), aaaaaaand you get complimentary re-fills (Cha-ching! High Score!)!!!! O...M...G! Not to mention, they have an amazing and diverse selection of tasty proteins, meats, veggies, salads, starches (homemade mac n' cheese, mashed taters n' gravy, broccoli-cheese-rice!) , comfort foods (gumbo! fried chicken!) soups, desserts (Funnel cakes, made to ORDER! Chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, bread pudding, cobbler). International foods well-represented: Asian, Mexican, Italian, also seafood far as the eye could see (incl. Alaskan King Crab legs, Cajun fare, fried and boiled shrimp) carving stations with meats galore, roast beef, prime rib, bbq...pretty much anything your heart and stomach desires, you name it! And soft drinks, beer and wine included in the cost! Totally worth it! Kids are welcome here and they will freak out at all the desserts (incl. sugar free desserts). I was so FULL, I could barely drink as much beer as I wanted. Good stuff! Everything I tried was tasty and flavorful. Service was great. And the line to get in to the buffet moved quickly. Jimmy Buffett should be proud of his buffet. It is the BEST in all of Shreveport-Bossier City riverboat-casinoland!!!

I ate here on Sept 18, 2013. The buffet was about 24.50 cents (you get a 2.50 discount if you get a players card). I tried almost every single entrée and side they had to offer. The brisket was the best. What was very disappointing was the pizza (too hard), the eggrolls (not crispy), all of the vegetables were soggy and bland, the Asian side of the buffet needs to just go away. Or they need some intense help on how to cook better Asian food. Some of the good things I experienced was the desserts. They had a huge variety and the lady at the funnel cake station totally kicks butt. She made the most perfect funnel cake Ive ever had. Also the beer had complimentary refills and the servers will NOT let you go low on the refills. Overall, good job.

I have to tell you, it was this restaurant that began my obsession with crab legs. The gentleman who was behind that portion of the buffet was so shocked I'd never tried them before that he grabbed a plate and gave ,e some right out of this big ol metal pot. Then I had the sweetest waitress and server show me how to use the metal cracky things to open it, then dip on butter and OH MY....It was fantastic. The rest of the buffet was only mediocre but it was plentiful. The free wine with the meal was nice and if you go register for a players card before going it'll take 2.00 off your price. The service was really really awesome. Nicest people there.

Stayed at the hotel it was very nice. Everyone at hotel suggested the buffet, but what a mistake. Showed on the signs that had received all types of awards, must have been filled out by the buffet manager. Went for dinner at 5:00pm If I could have given negative starts I would have... The buffet wouldn't have been good if it had been free The crab legs smelled so fishy, you could smell them at register while paying. The crabs legs are sitting in warm water, which are not the way to serve or keep warm. The roast beef was only available in medium well to well done, nothing medium rare to medium. Mashed potatoes tasted like re-heated from the day before. Nothing on the buffet was hot or recently pre-paired. Never did you see anyone cooking anything. Everything was being brought out of warmers including the fried foods. Salad bar was nice, but all of the salad dressings even came out of a jar. Save your time, money, and effort from this place

Margaritaville is the newest casino in town with a stellar buffet in comparison to its nearby competitors. Be sure to pick up a players card to get a discount on the buffet. Your buffet ticket includes wine & beer (which is a plus because most buffets charge extra for these). The World Buffet has anything and everything that you can imagine (seafood, bbq- prime rib, ribs, brisket & sausage), asian (chinese food and even vietnamese Pho), american food fare, Italian, an extensive salad bar with endless chilled cocktail shrimp, and a rotating station that features a specialty cuisine). The dessert bar is my most favorite part of the buffet because I always try to eat a bit of everything! You can even customize your own vanilla bar dipped in chocolate or grab some freshly made funnel cake! For this area, the food here is surprisingly tasty & above average. Don't bother with the other casino buffets because Margaritaville supercedes them all!

The worst buffet ever!!! Don't waste your money on this over price place. You will get 3 times the food choices at Sam's Town. Breakfast is less than what you can get at the Hampton Inn. We were seated & went to get our food. When we came back, the drink list was sitting on our table. We waited for another 10 minutes before someone came & then another 10 minutes before they returned with our drinks. I had been choking for quite a time at this point.

Food was great stuffing, mashed potatoes excellent! They had chicken marsal and other Italian foods that where first class, desserts not bad! My 7 year old said Mac and cheese was best she ever had! The service not good and the lady at the pho station wow! Rudest person I have ever come across in service industry! She asked me how many soups I said one then my husband came and wanted one do I asked to add another! I kid you not she became the soup natzy just aweful! But goid was good, about $26 a piece includes drinks, wine and beer and kids half price!

Beer and wine included with your meal. It's well worth paying $24.95. I'd come here every Friday and Saturday if I could afford it. Dinner twice and breakfast once and I've enjoyed it every time. If you are a seafood lover, crab legs every night......this is awesome. I feel like the kid in the movie 'big daddy,' "I can be in the scuba squad?" This place is awesome, fabulous, and super duper wonderful. Come and enjoy all of the awesomeness. Oh and don't get excited over the salad bar, there's more food to eat. Oh and I thought funnel cakes were only at the State Fair. Nope there here too, at Margaritaville!!!

I have been to many buffet's in my life and I have done every buffet on the Las Vegas strip. This buffet I would not expect to find at a casino outside of Las Vegas. My parents and I were there on a Tuesday evening. The wait staff was great. After we paid we were seated right away. When I went up to the buffet line I did not expect what I saw on a Tuesday night. They had prime rib, lots of seafood, ribs and other foods that most other casino buffets only serve on weekend nights. They also had the usual casino buffet items as well. Everything was laid out by food category. Seafood, Asian, BBQ, Cajun, Salad, Dessert and so on. Everything was so clean and the food was fresh, hot and high quality. The wait staff was on top of everything and made sure our table was clean and our drinks were full. If you live in the area or visiting this is a must visit buffet.

This is a pretty good buffet. I went with a few friends and everyone agreed that nothing we had was out of this world good but, for the most part everyone really enjoyed their meal. They also have all you can drink beer and wine which is nice....not that you have much room for that when you are filling up on the good stuff! I will def be going back.

It was $26 for a crab leg buffet on a Friday night. We both had a plate stacked high with crab legs and tore them apart. I would suggest getting one or two clusters at a time. We both got four clusters on our first plate and the last ones were cold. There is also unlimited beer and wine, they only have miller light and michelobe ultra, so we didn't drink much. There was a huge variety of food available from freshly caved meat all the way to Vietnamese pho. I tried a little of the broth and it was good, but didn't have the depth of flavor that I usually look for in a pho. That's okay, there were plenty of tasty looking things to try. Next I went and got a slice of prime run and was immediately sad that I had eaten so many crap legs. It was a perfect rare and sliced like butter. I had two big slabs of it with au jus and horseradish before I was too full to stuff anymore in myself. I had a few bites of mashed potatoes with it, but I was there for the meat! I wasn't going to have any dessert but my friend brought back this amazing slice of cheesecake which was the best I've ever had. I had to go get my own it was so good. Creamy, light and drizzled with a strawberry sauce. They also have a station that makes fresh funnel cakes, which looked amazing coming out, but I didn't have the room for anything else in my tummy. If you want a great buffet I would come here and stuff yourself on the prime rib and crab legs.

Margaritaville Casino is the newest casino in town and has a nice clean feel to it. We tried their buffet for dinner and subsequently learned that the $24.95 buffet is discounted to $21.45 if you're 50+ (yay!, for old age). If we had only known - we wasted money and time at the slots before dinner to try to earn possible discount points on the dinner. Anyway, the buffet quality is quite good here. I complimented the chef on the ribs in particular - they were of Famous Dave's quality (our favorite) - meaty, dry rubbed, and flavorful St Louis style. This is the south after all, they know how to do ribs down here. I could have eaten only that and been satisfied. We also tried the Vietnamese pho (first time for us at a casino buffet). Crab legs were ok, and post-analysis says I should have cut back on some of that in lieu of more ribs. The desserts were freshly made and of high quality also. All-in-all, a great value for us, very good buffet food, and highly recommended.

$10 craps tables and I never saw a waitress for the entire hour and a half I played! Same story at the Texas Hold'em tables - I had 2 drinks in the 3 hours I was there. Take your money elsewhere!

Went there for breakfast and it was a complete waste of time/money. Even at ~$10 a plate I would expect a lot more on a breakfast buffet. Much like what i have read on the dinner reviews. Lots of empty stations, long lines, and lack of service. I spent the majority of my time waiting in line for an omelet which was the only palatable thing i had. Attention needs to be given to the quality of the food if the offerings are so slim. Stale biscuits, dried out scrambled eggs, and greasy bacon are not the way to go.

It was a waste of money tonight. Lots of empty trays at around 6:30pm? I ate two bowls of noodle soup for $25 dollars. Sighs! We won't recommended it.

  • Michael C.

Food was ok, much of it was lukewarm instead of being hot. For $25 a person for Sunday brunch I expected more. No omelette station. Mini quiches that the bottom crust was still raw. Biscuit sandwiches that had sat so long they were rock hard. And worst of all the soft serve ice cream machines were broken!

  • Edwin L.

As far as buffet brunches go, this is the best in Shreveport and about a thousand times better than the Horseshoe buffet. We went to the $25 Sunday brunch that included bottomless mimosas, bloody Mary's, beer and wine. We also got 10% off by showing our Margaritaville player card. Highlights included ribs, fried shrimp, gumbo, and étouffée. Breakfast is only $10 and includes bottomless mimosas.

Was a little underwhelmed at the buffet. (I know, it's a buffet. What can you expect?) It wasn't bad by any means, there just wasn't as much of a selection as I thought there would be. Our server was very nice and prompt, but over all the buffet at the casino in Marksville had a better selection and more seafood. What I saw of the casino was aesthetically pleasing and would like to go back when we can stay longer, but I think I'd skip the buffet and eat elsewhere.
